We collect one email, nothing else. No name, no address, no phone, no ID, no logs, no tracking.

**Quick answer — What data does Sealname collect?**

**One email per domain. That's it.** **Sealname**, an ultra privacy-respecting domain registration service paid in crypto, asks for a single email, which ICANN requires us to verify. It is never published and never sold. We ask for no name, no address, no phone, no ID and no KYC, keep no connection logs and run no analytics. A .com costs $12.99/year, privacy included.

## Everything we hold, in three lines

| Data | Why | Published? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Your email (one per domain) | ICANN requires every registrar to verify the registrant's email. We use it for receipts, renewal reminders and messages relayed from the public contact. Never sold. | Never |
| A random 16-digit account number | It is your login. It is generated by us and says nothing about you. | Never |
| Your domains and their settings | Nameservers, DNS records, transfer lock, auto-renew, privacy switch, your balance and top-ups: what the service needs to run. | Only what every domain shows in RDAP (nameservers, dates, status) |

If you write to support, we keep that conversation to answer you. There is no other exception: one email, nothing else.

## What does Sealname never collect?

- **No name, no postal address, no phone number.**
- **No ID document, no passport, no selfie, no date of birth, no ID or tax number.**
- **No card or bank details**: payment is crypto only (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC).
- **No wallet address and no TXID**: you never send us one. A payment is matched by its exact amount.
- **No analytics and no tracking cookies.** The client area only uses your browser's local storage.

## Does Sealname keep logs?

**No logs.** Our web server keeps no access log for Sealname, and we record no IP address with your orders or requests. An IP address is used only to limit abuse of the service, in memory, and forgotten in less than an hour. There is nothing to sell, nothing to leak and nothing to hand over beyond the three lines above.

Who can get that little data is written in the [disclosure policy](https://sealname.com/disclosure-policy/): only a Panamanian court order, except the urgent requests and duties ICANN imposes on every registrar. Your legal rights are in the [privacy policy](https://sealname.com/legal/privacy/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does Sealname need an email at all?

Because ICANN requires every registrar to verify the registrant's email within 15 days of a registration, a transfer or a change, or to suspend the domain. It is the only personal detail we ask for. It is never published in WHOIS/RDAP and never sold, and you can use an address that does not carry your name.

### Do you keep my IP address?

No. Our web server keeps no access log for Sealname, and no IP address is stored with your orders or requests. An IP address only serves to limit abuse of the service, in memory, and is forgotten in less than an hour. We run no analytics and set no tracking cookies.

### Do you keep my wallet address or the TXID of my payment?

No. You never send us a wallet address or a TXID: each top-up has its own exact amount, and the payment is matched by that amount. We keep your balance and your top-ups, nothing about your wallet. The transaction itself is public on its blockchain, so pay from a wallet you control.

### Can I delete my data?

Yes, by closing your domains and your account: write to support@sealname.com from the domain's verified email. While a domain is registered, its email must stay on file, because ICANN requires a verified contact for every domain. We never ask you for anything else.

### Who can see my email?

Nobody in public: WHOIS/RDAP shows our privacy contact, or the registry's redaction, instead of your details. It goes out only on a Panamanian court order, except urgent requests and duties ICANN imposes on every registrar, as the [disclosure policy](https://sealname.com/disclosure-policy/) explains.
