Quick answer

Can I register a .xxx domain privately?

Not confirmed yet. The rules we hold for .xxx come from registrar lists, not from the registry itself, so Sealname, a private domain registration service paid in crypto, does not sell .xxx and makes no privacy promise for it. Extensions we have checked, such as .com at $12.99/year with privacy included, can be registered with no ID and no KYC.

What sources say about .xxx

Why doesn't Sealname sell .xxx yet?

We sell an extension only after checking three things on the registry's own website: who may register it, whether personal data can stay out of the public record, and whether the registry asks for an identity document or number. For .xxx, at least one of these points is not confirmed yet. Registrar lists can be outdated or apply a registrar's own rule rather than the registry's, so we prefer to wait than to promise a privacy that may not exist.

What registrar sources say about eligibility: Sponsored TLD for the adult-entertainment community; registry policies apply (older sources mention pre-screening).

Which extensions can I register privately today?

Every extension in our price list has been checked: anyone can register it, with no ID document and no ID number, and the public record shows no personal data. Popular choices are .com at $12.99/year, .net at $13.99/year, .org at $12.99/year and .io at $54.99/year. The privacy index lists every extension with its status.

Frequently asked questions

When will Sealname sell .xxx?

When its rules are confirmed on the registry's website and they allow a private registration with no ID document and no ID number. We re-check the extensions of the index every quarter. If .xxx then qualifies, it gets a price and appears in the price list.

Can I register a .xxx domain anonymously elsewhere?

Be careful with any promise of anonymity for .xxx: the registry's rules decide what is published and who may register, whatever the registrar says. Read the registry's own policy first. What sources say today: A privacy service is allowed by the registry.

Which private extension is closest to .xxx?

A generic extension: .com at $12.99/year, .net at $13.99/year or .xyz at $13.99/year, all open to anyone with WHOIS privacy included. Sealname takes payment in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) and asks only for one verified email.
